About 28 years ago when my kids were born in 1999, I and my husband were born same county in Korea. After 10 years later, he and me lived in same town in Seoul. Then he and me studied in S.F. area. Since then, we had never met and know each other ever though we have sharing aquaintances.
Finally we met in Boston in 1997 and married in 1998.
And, my twin boys were born in 1999.
We have been in same space in synchronicity for getting one family.

I love your story about how you were meant to be a family and met at the right time to make that happen.
ReplyDeleteI think we all meet when the “time” is right. My husband and I met through a friend. I had been hearing about this friend’s ex-boyfriend for years and how she planned to win him back. He had moved away to Southern California and eventually moved back to San Francisco. She would do crazy things like drive to SF on her days off just to “run into him”. I never thought she would reconcile with him, however I was wrong and they were married. I attended their wedding with my current boyfriend and turns out my future husband was at the very table next to me. We didn’t talk and don’t remember each other from the wedding at all. A year later we met because our mutual friends had an extra pair of baseball tickets. I bought one from my friend and he bought one from his friend. So, we ended up next to each other at a Giants game. Turns out we had both broken up with our respective partners and the rest, as they say, is history.
