Week One Assignments

What attracts me to Chinese Medicine?
; I've never attract to Chinese medicine when I was in Korea. Old Han dynasty medicine, Chinese medicine, seemed like old fashioned and I was already attracted to Western Medicine.
Since I had studied Health Education in BU, I felt that only Western theories and science were not enough to give a good education of preventing disease, managing and promoting health.
I think that knowledgement of both Eastern and Western medicine can make up for the weak points.

What do I honestly think of Physics, really?
;Everything in our life is related with Physics. But I did not recognize the reality as a part of physics natural phenomenon usually. I started to think of Physics when I had the first class in AIMC. What a surprise! TCM theory was just from Physics. Yin and Yang, Qi movement ...etc
I am really exciting having this class finally.

Now that I think about it, have I ever experienced time "slowing down" or "speeding up"?
Yes, specially in my body changing, yonger than 35 years old mekes me little slowing down feeling of going up, up, up in energy level. Later on, I feel speeding up to go down on downhill.
For my sence, whenever I am doing my favorite things, the time is speeding up.
That means all my energy can be indulged into the favorite things like dropping down "Black hole". On the other hand, boring stuffs always make slowing down on my time.

  1. Jeonhee,
I have the same experience with time slowing down and speeding up depending on whether or not I enjoy the activity: how much I can 'get lost' in it.
I would like to develop the skill, if possible, to slow down time when I am enjoying myself, and speed it up when I am not!
I think that will be a lifelong lesson.
